Union County's Connections to the Community
Individuals in Union County have employment opportunities that provide a supportive environment, and allows people to work no matter what their level of productivity. Kris Michael, below, uses an Adaptive Head Pointer Device to help her work, counting rubber grommets used in Hondas. Look for more highlighting Union County's other connections to the community in the next issue of Pipeline Quarterly, coming in early June.

We at ODMRDD have created a way to better inform the public on the work of ODMRDD and provide up-to-date information regarding our department.
We are pleased to announce the creation of the “Futures & More” section at our website, www.mrdd.ohio.gov. “Futures & More”, created in March, replaces the former “Quality” section, and, while carrying over some information from that previous configuration, it goes further to encompass much of the direction determined by the recommendations made by the MRDD Futures Committee, as well as resulting new initiatives. “Futures & More” also is all about the work being done at ODMRDD to support our Five Goals.

Our toll-free general number is 877-4OH-MRDD, and is listed with our address at the lower bar of the homepage. An 877 number is toll-free, just like 800 numbers! We post other 800 numbers that access specific areas of expertise within the ODMRDD, throughout this site.
